17 Nov 2010 – Successful Cerame-Unie annual meetings

On 17 November 2010, the Cerame-Unie General Assembly as well as the European Parliament Ceramics Forum (EPCF) were held in Brussels.
This year’s EPCF, chaired by Michael Cashman MEP and co-chaired by Malcolm Harbour MEP, welcomed more than 110 participants  representing  the European Commission, Member States, the European Parliament, the European Economic and Social Committee and industry stakeholders. On the agenda were a wide range of issues in the field of environment, trade and raw materials & internal market. 

Following the Forum, a cocktail reception and a walking dinner were offered. The reception was kindly opened by Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner of DG Enterprise and Industry.
