RAW MATERIALS

While for roofing tile & brick production the industry itself provides most of the raw materials needed, in the refractories and fine ceramics sectors producers are being supplied with materials by independent industries, which tend to offer a great range of highly refined materials according to the specifications required by the producer.

In most cases raw materials are no longer extracted in the direct surroundings of the user industry, and the European industry is increasingly dependent on imports from third countries.
