The 15th European Parliament Ceramics Forum (EPCF) took place on 3 December in Brussels hosted by EPCF Chair, MEP Paul Rübig and co-hosted by MEP Elisabetta Gardini. Members of the European Parliament, European Commission officials and industry representatives participated in panel debates on topical issues of relevance for the ceramic industry:

• Resource efficiency & sustainable construction:  Making the circular economy a reality
• Trade & competitiveness: Enabling SMEs to compete at international level
• Climate & energy: Streamlining industrial competitiveness in post 2020 EU ETS 

Following the Forum, Daniel Calleja Crespo of DG Enterprise gave the keynote speech at a cocktail reception hosted by Cerame-Unie.
