In order to export European goods abroad, industry needs a reliable pool of well-skilled workers to make those goods to the high-quality that global consumers expect. To transition to a low-carbon economy, we need a workforce that is equipped with the know-how to develop, implement, and use breakthrough technologies and shape transformative industrial processes. Ultimately, we cannot deliver the innovations of the future, without the workers of tomorrow.
In this context, the Cerame-Unie public conference on skills offers a forum in which industry, academics, trade unions, and EU officials can exchange on the best practices in contemporary skills development in Europe.

Industry members will also share case-studies and best practices to facilitate industry involvement on research and innovation developments.
