On 11 May 2026, the European Commission published for consultation its draft regulation for the revision of the EU ETS benchmarks for the period 2026-30.
CERAME-UNIE calls on the European Commission not to further reduce the 2026-30 EU ETS benchmarks, until an improved and realistic benchmarking methodology is defined.
